Report cards: 3 period.

Emma got straight A's and Maya got straight M's....(that is straight A's for 1st grade)

Well done girls!! Keep up the good work!!!

I am so very proud of you!!!

Emma's soccer so far.

They are winning every game. Sorry I am not reporting. Yesterday we drove to Jekyll Island Georgia for a game. It was beautiful there. They won 6-1. Emma had three assist, and one goal. Coach said she knows exactly where to put that ball. He also has her take every corner kick....

Next up, game this weekend. Going to Melbourne Beach the next weekend for a tournament. 14 teams in her division so it will be a tough one..We shall see!!!
Ava is all about dressing herself these days. Can you tell?

I know it looks like Emma is doing something bad in these photos but I promise you, it was not. She was eating and I snapped at the same time that it made it look like that. But, Ava was too cute in this photo so I had to post anyhow.

a little visit from Vinny.

Emma's 10th birthday.

Dear Emma, in two days you will be ten years old. Wow, where has all the time gone??

This last year has gone by so fast (as do all the years). I have noticed the most changes with you though in this last one. You are growing, you are maturing, and you are becoming a young lady.

I am so proud of the one you are becoming. You are filled with talent, intellect, courage, compassion, empathy, bravery, honesty, and love.

In this past year alone, you have accomplished the following:
1. Had your artwork sent to Spain.
2. Won first place in a poetry contest.
3. Won two major awards by your teacher...Fairness, and Citizenship.
4. Begged to be on a premiere girls soccer team ranked 23 in the nation.
5. kept up with your straight A's.
6. Got the lead in the school musical.
7. read all 15 books by the Sunshine State program.

I am sure there is more, but those are some pretty AMAZING accomplishments for a 9 (almost 10) year old.

I could not be more proud of you. Keep up the good work and I know you will go very far in life. I am sure of it.

Happy Birthday baby girl, and I hope this year proves to be even more successful!!!

All my love,
Mom.
