Sheeba, surfing.

What a great Memorial Day we all had. It was one of the best. We had about 60 people at the
beach!!!! We had tents and cooked out hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, fruit, brownies, potato salad,
cake, you name it!!! We had about 15 surf boards, 10 boogie boards, and had a blast!!!! The only
part that wasn't the best, was that about 75 yards from us, a dead body washed ashore. Yes, I said
a dead body. A 25 year old surfer went missing the day before while surfing. The undertow took
him. They searched for him, but nothing. And, while we were out there, he washed up. So that was sad and hard to explain to all the kids. But, we did enjoy our time there, and after the beach we had
some friends come by with their kids and we swam in the pool!!! The kids were so worn out. They crashed that night with no problem at all. But, then Emma woke me up at 4 a.m. to tell me she had
thrown up all over the hallway, and is still getting sick. So, she is home from school today. And well
Maya was not happy by that!!! But only 12 more days left, so she has to go!!! we hope you all had a
great Holiday weekend. Happy Birthday Grandpa Jim!!! we wish we were with you to celebrate!!!
Can't wait to see you in a month~~~
